The Right Franchise for You by Faizun Kamal

I first heard about this book on LinkedIn. A friend of mine at the university, Eva, had commented on one of Faizun’s posts asking if people were interested to read her manuscript before the book went to publishing. I loved the opportunity to do so and had a great time reading the book before it was actually released. I knew that this book was going to be quite informative and ultimately for a target market that I am not part of, but I still wanted to learn, and I did.

I greatly enjoyed the way that the initial story was written into this book. There were some great things listed here. One of the things that jumped out to me is listed below. People often know what needs to be done before even seeking counsel yet do not want to face the truth that they know they need to.

Pg. 7, At every health checkup, her doctor advises her to reduce her stress. “Take a yoga class,” says her doctor. She silently nods her head, knowing exactly what she needs to do to reduce her stress — and it isn’t yoga!

I noted this for the main reason of that is the impression I want to leave on others. I want people to see me, spend time with me, and think of me as calm and wise.
