Live God’s Way: Repent. Renounce. Replace.

Christ Fellowship Church just concluded a critical sermon series they called “on the table”. They emphasized that the church should be the safest place to have the hardest conversations.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.” — Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” — John‬ ‭17‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Strive to approach conversations with truth AND grace — everyone is at a different point in their spiritual journey. A good conversation stirs curiosity. ASK permission from others to continue.

“Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.” ‭‭ — Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“All the counsel you have received has only worn you out! Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you. Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame. These are not coals for warmth; this is not a fire to sit by.
