Keep positivity as a priority

There are so many self-help books that often, it seems people overlook the greatest one. Our roadmap for life, the Bible.

The Bible teaches love and then commands it.
The Bible teaches forgiveness and then commands it.
The Bible teaches positivity and then commands it.

What self-help books that I’ve read (which have been quite a few) have taught us is basically just regurgitated information. I can’t say that I’ve learned much new from any self-help book after reading a few.

What these types of books do well is preach positivity. As I wrote on Tuesday, smiles are contagious. happiness is contagious, and joy is contagious also.

Happiness is a cause of an event being joyous, good, and enjoyable. Therefore, positivity, as well, is a cause and not a result.

These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold — though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. — 1 Peter 1:7

As people, we should strive to be filled with positivity and center ourselves around positivity. The most important thing is to remain centered regardless of any event or circumstance. As I…
